SEMANTIC CHARACTERISTICS OF MEDICAL TERMS AND METHODS OF TEACHING

ASLANOV AKMAL SUBXANOVICH , MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND INNOVATIONS OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

In this scientific study (Monograph), we analyzed the semantic features of medical terms and the methodology of their teaching. Medical terminology is one of the special layers of the dictionary, which is distinguished by its semantic, morphological and structural features. The depth and scope of the problems of this vocabulary layer attract linguists to study new strategies and characteristics of this subsystem of the language.

Despite the fact that medicine is one of the oldest fields of knowledge and human activity, it is logical to conclude that its terminology has been developed for a long time. Due to the rapid development of medical-biological, medical-chemical, medical-technical fields of science, the number of special medical terms are increasing. The problem of the development of medical language from the point of view of its systematicity, as well as taking into account social and linguistic conditionality, explains the relevance of this research.

The different semantic structures of languages are studied through different logical paradigms, and medical terms are explored by extension. Therefore, it is one of the important task to study, analyze and apply the structural and semantic features of modern medical terminology.
